ERE 2026 – Quinta reunión de la Negociación: presentación de 1ª propuesta por la empresa / ERE 2026 – Fifth negotiation meeting: presentation of the first proposal by the company
The company’s Head of Strategy participated in the meeting held on February 5, presenting a risk analysis of the telecommunications sector and the challenges it faces in the future.
At STC, we pointed out that the 2017 redundancy plan also presented equally negative forecasts for the future, which ultimately did not come to pass. Therefore, we cannot accept attempts to justify this collective dismissal based on future prospects that time has already shown to be inaccurate.
On the other hand, they have announced a reduction in the number of jobs affected to 177. We have informed the company that this is totally insufficient. Reducing the scope is essential to achieve voluntary participation.
The company also presented an initial proposal, which we will not go into in detail as it is far away from the minimum criteria that we at STCconsider necessary to encourage voluntary participation. The most significant element of this proposal is its intention to eliminate the Income Plans, focusing the process exclusively on compensated redundancies and early retirement.
STC has informed the company that this approach is far from reaching an agreement. We encourage the workforce to join in all protest actions, rallies, and assemblies to show our absolute rejection of the dismissals and conditions proposed by the company.
VOLUNTARY REDUNDANCIES LIKE IN FRANCE!!!!
